Calorie Guide

The calorie guide is a great way to ensure you stay within the target calorie range for your plan. Please note the following minimum and maximums:

Lifestyle

  • Minimum 600 kcal
  • Maximum 750 kcal
  • Recommended 600-700 kcal

Lifestyle Plus

  • Minimum 620 kcal
  • Maximum 900 kcal
  • Recommended 750-850 kcal

Simplicity

  • Minimum 520 kcal
  • Maximum 750 kcal
  • Recommended 600-700 kcal

Simplicity Plus

  • Minimum 620 kcal
  • Maximum 900 kcal
  • Recommended 750-850 kcal
You will notice that the Simplicity and Simplicity Plus plans have lower than normal minimum calories. This is fine as long as the correct amount of packs for the plan have been consumed for the day. Please refer to the “Plan Adviser” below for further clarification.

Ketosis Guide

The Slim & Save® Ketosis guide is a great way to ensure you do not come out of ketosis by having excessive carbohydrates whilst on plan.

Please see the following guide for for Lifestyle & Simplicity:

  • Under 70g of Carbs – Perfect for Ketosis.
  • Over 70g but less than 80g of Carbs – Some people will come out of ketosis at this level.
  • Over 80g of Carbs – Most people will come out of ketosis which will cause you to be more hungry and can prevent the body burning fat effectively.

Please see the following guide for Lifestyle Plus & Simplicity Plus:

  • Under 75g of Carbs – Perfect for Ketosis.
  • Over 75g but less than 85g of Carbs – Some people will come out of ketosis at this level.
  • Over 85g of Carbs – Most people will come out of ketosis which will cause you to be more hungry and can prevent the body burning fat effectively.

  • 200g of Vegetables
  • 100g of Meat/Fish/Poultry or Vegetarian Equivalent
  • 150ml of Skimmed Milk
  • (or) 100ml of Semi Skimmed Milk
  • (or) 50ml of Full Fat Milk
  • Multi-Vitamin/Mineral Required

Lifestyle Plus 750-850 Calories

  • 4 Slim & Save Packs
  • 200g of Vegetables
  • 100g of Meat/Fish/Poultry or Vegetarian Equivalent
  • 150ml of Skimmed Milk
  • (or) 100ml of Semi Skimmed Milk
  • (or) 50ml of Full Fat Milk

Simplicity 600-700 Calories

  • 4 Slim & Save Packs
  • Optional 200g of Vegetables
  • Optional Milk Allowance (as above)

Simplicity 750-850 Calories

  • 5 Slim & Save Packs
  • Optional 200g of Vegetables
  • Optional Milk Allowance (as above)
Please note Slim & Save wafers or low carb crisps do not class as one of your Slim & Save packs, these replace the protein option on Lifestyle Plans.
